We were entrusted with completing a modest London terraced house that had already undergone a small extension and open-plan remodel by architects. Our task was to add the finishing touches that would transform the space into a cohesive and comfortable home.

How do we bring all these colours and textures together and make it look cohesive and thought through? We had a blank canvas, we had a building with some walls and some lamps built-in but that’s the extent of it. What art goes on what wall, what about the rugs and the pillows and all the soft finishes and putting together the shelves that were open and bare? It was a house but it felt very austere and it needed to be brought together and made to feel cohesive, whole and comfortable. And I think that’s what we achieved in the end. It was a great experience to bring this all together and understand where we were trying to go, pick out materials and products that were sympathetic to our design aesthetic as well as our budget. Pushing us a little bit in some directions. It was a fantastic experience. It looks amazing. Really pleased with the results.”
