Dare to go Dark

Would you go black? It’s a daring, elegant and powerful colour, especially when used generously.

Many people believe painting a room dark makes it seem smaller. Not so. When you think about real darkness you can’t see where one plane ends and another begins so your eye is drawn further out into the obscurity.

Regardless, if you have a small space, especially a dark AND small room - like we had here with this client’s ensuite shower room - embrace the shadows and consider going for a deep and atmospheric scheme.
